Duct Repair & Replacement in Metro Atlanta

Our Duct Repair Process

Ductwork problems aren’t always visible, which is why we start with a thorough evaluation. Depending on what we find, your service may include:

Duct Repair

  • Locating air leaks, gaps, and disconnected runs

  • Sealing joints and seams to stop airflow loss

  • Fixing crushed, kinked, or damaged sections

  • Reinforcing loose or sagging duct lines

  • Rebalancing airflow to improve room-to-room comfort

Duct Replacement

  • Removing worn, undersized, or poorly-designed ductwork

  • Installing new duct runs sized correctly for your home

  • Upgrading to modern insulated duct materials

  • Redesigning layouts for better airflow efficiency

  • Testing static pressure and airflow after installation

Our goal is simple: get your air moving the way it should — safely, efficiently, and evenly.

Signs It’s Time for Duct Repair or Replacement

If you’re noticing any of these, your ducts could be the reason:

  • Uneven temperatures (some rooms too hot or too cold)

  • Weak airflow coming from vents

  • Higher energy bills with no clear explanation

  • Excess dust or dusty airflow even after cleaning

  • Musty or stale odors when the HVAC runs

  • Noisy ducts (rattling, popping, whistling)

  • Humidity problems or rooms that never feel comfortable

  • Visible damage in attic/crawlspace (tears, crushed ducts, disconnected lines)

  • Hot/cold air loss before the air reaches your rooms

Many duct issues start small, but over time they can cost you comfort and money.

When Duct Replacement Is Better Than Repair

Repairs are often the right move, but there are cases where replacement saves you more long-term. Replacement is usually the better choice when:

  1. Your ducts are old or deteriorating

    • If ductwork is 15–25+ years old, materials may be breaking down, insulation may be failing, and leaks become widespread.

  2. Leaks are extensive or repeated

    • One small leak? Repair.

    • Multiple leaks across the system? Replacement prevents a cycle of patch-and-fail.

  3. Ductwork is undersized or poorly designed

    • If ducts were installed incorrectly or don’t match your HVAC system, repairs won’t fix airflow problems. A redesign will.

  4. There’s major damage

    • Crushed ducts, mold contamination, rodent damage, or collapsing runs usually require replacement.

  5. You’re upgrading your HVAC system

    • A new high-efficiency unit needs properly sized ducts to deliver full performance. Old ductwork can bottleneck your investment.

We’ll always explain your options clearly and recommend replacement only when it truly makes sense.
